Dear all,
The Fisheries Society of the British Isles will hold its 2003 international
symposium from 30th June - 4th July in Norwich, England. The central theme
of the meeting is 'Fish as models of behaviour'. The symposium will
include sessions on sexual selection and parental care, foraging theory,
dispersal and habitat choice, conflict and cooperation, and learning and
cognition. The organisers are Isabelle Cote, Julian Metcalfe and Iain
Barber. The deadline for submission of abstracts is 1 November. Partial
funding may be available for graduate students. For more details, please
