Ai yai yai, twice this month I have done what I am always telling list
subscribers NOT to do, namely send a reply back to the list instead of to
the poster. I apologise to all, especially those whose knuckles I have
rapped for doing the same thing. Please remember the ancient principle, "Do
as I say, not as I do."

Seasons greetings to all, hoping for a spirit of tolerance and forgiveness
not only for my own misdeeds, but for all the many problems that seem to be
getting worse and worse in the world at this time.
