Hydroacoustic Technology Inc. has an acoustic tag (model 795) that is 0.75 g
in air; 6.8 mm diameter and 16.5 mm long.

Our research group have been attaching very small radio-tags weighing less
than 1 g in air to small fishes in streams.
The smallest acoustic tags that we have seen on manufacturer websites are 1.4
g in air. Is anyone aware of a company manufacturing acoustic tags that are
smaller than this?
