Dear collegues
We are looking for information on the distribution of silver carps outside
their natural area of distribution.
In Mozambique we have come across a river system with silver carps, and
there are good indications that these fish have established a reproducing
population.
We would like to get in contact with people who have information on other
reproducing stocks, especially on the conditions under which the silver
carps may reproduce, and the impact these fish have had on the natural
ecosystem.
