Greetings,

I am looking for information on the depth distribution of a couple
species of fish - mahimahi (Coryphaena hippurus), giant trevally
(Caranx igobilis), wahoo or ono, (Acanthocybium solanderi),
pelagic file fish (species unknown, but those found around Hawaii),
and swordfish (Ziphias gladius). I'm studying diving behaviour of
false killer whales in Hawaii, which are known or thought to feed on
all of these species, and I'm trying to compare dive depths of false
killer whales to the depth distribution of their prey. I have found
some limited information on mahimahi (Boggs 1992; Massuti et al.
1998), but nothing yet on the other species, and would appreciate
suggestions of any references or people to contact who might have
information on the depth distribution of these species.
