Greetings all;
I need to track down references on winter aggregation of smallmouth bass in
lakes, reservoirs, or river-lake systems. Terry Euston at our Muddy Run
lab recalls an old paper by Webster 1954 from Cayuga Lake, NY, but lost his
copy and doesn't remember the journal. I recall reading about this
phenomenon being observed in a Canadian lake (Opinicon?)but can't recall
the source...I think it was published in the past 10 years or so. Related
would be anything on long-distance migration in river systems or drainage
networks, especially with respect to change in seasonal habitat use (and
especially if it involved movement into a downstream lake or reservoir).
Does anyone have any references handy on this?
Thanks
