Hello, Steven:

I apologize if this is not timely, but a good source up to 1992 is:

Snyder, D.E. 1992. Impacts of electrofishing on fish. Copies are
available through the Fish and Wildlife Reference Service, 5430 Grosvenor
Lane, Ste. 110, Bethesda, Maryland 20814-2158; 800-582-3421. Request MIN#
809440039. Cost is $23.90 for paper copies, $4.00 for microfiche; free to
federal and state agency cooperators.

The Snyder paper is a comprehensive compilation of fish trauma information
to 1992.

From there on, most effects on fish articles have been published in the
North American Journal of Fisheries Management.

Of possible interest, there is a electrofishing fish injury network
maintained out of the American Fisheries Society Fisheries Management
section. In addition, Dr. Jim Reynolds at the University of Alaska
Fairbanks is leading a nearly complete fish injury study that investigates
the impacts of several waveforms on numerous fish species across North
America. Probably the most comprehensive and standardized study to date.

Alan

Subject: electric current

Greetings all. I was hoping to get some leads on literature pertaining to
electric current and its affects on fish. Happy Holidays.
