The Department of Biological Sciences at Towson University has a number
of competitive Teaching Assistantships available for students
interested in pursuing a Master of Science degree in Biology while doing
their research on fish. The Teaching Assistantships include a stipend
of $8000 with a tuition waiver. Teaching assistants are expected to
spend 8-9 hours/week in the laboratory, and to assist their faculty
lecturer with laboratory preparation and grading.The total commitment to
teaching is approximately 20h/week. The graduate program is tailored to
accommodate both traditional and non-traditional students. The research
would either be in the area of fish physiological ecology with:
