I currently have a stipend available for a graduate student (masters or Ph.D.).
The project would involve the use of mosquitofish (Gambusia affinis) as a model
organism for identifying endocrine-disrupting chemicals and for investigating
the effects of EDC's on reproductive fitness of populations.
For information about the graduate program and how to apply, see the UAB Biology
Department web site: http://WWW.UAB.EDU/uabbio/.
From this page, you can access my faculty web page with further information on
the project. I would be glad to discuss details of the project with interested
students.
