Position title: Aquatic Biotechnologist - NOV 000823
Agency/Location: Texas Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory, College
Station, Texas.
Qualifications: Minimum ? BS in biological sciences. Preferred
qualifications ? BS MS one year experience in nucleic acid testing.
Salary: $25,000 per year
Description: Provide technical support in developing diagnostic
capabilities in aquatic animal disease. Work in molecular testing primarily
but also in other areas important to aquatic animal diagnosis. Assist in
the general operations of the aquatic animal disease section. Conduct tasks
that serve to validate, standardize and document test procedures.
Occasional fieldwork.
