Dear Marine Scientists,

Just one thing to add: CBC news reported today an alarming drop in the
Newfoundland snow crab stocks - possibly as high as 50% (from DFO Science).
There was no mention of a revival of the groundfish. So there's no cod,
disappearing crab, and not enough plankton in the water to keep a right
whale alive.

I don't know what color "scare" you want to call it, but I am worried.
