Fairly large numbers of subscribers have been replying to the entire list in response to an offer from "A A <[log in to unmask]>" for a free booklet on measurement of dissolved oxygen. This is one of those cases where it is clearly appropriate to reply directly to the sender rather than to the entire list. Few (if any) of our 1500+ subscribers care to know whether someone wants to receive that booklet, and most consider this annoying. Further, the original poster may not even be monitoring replies posted to this list.
Some of the replies were sent from e-mail addresses that are not subscribed to this list. To prevent wanton spamming, the Fish-Sci list blocks postings from such addresses unless a list co-manager approves their posting. I have not been approving those replies to the list. Therefore, if you want to receive that booklet, you will have to contact the original poster "[log in to unmask]" directly.
