Hi fellow listers,

I am interested in any information that you could provide me on a
dissolved oxygen meter. The meter I am interested in is the Delta Model
4010, Dissolved Oxygen/Temperature meter. I am interested in any internal
electronic schematics or the possible availability of probes for this unit.
I have 2 of these units, but a non-functioning probe for each unit. I would
like to try and utilize what I have instead of shelling out the bucks for a
new unit.

On a side-bar, I would like to hear any opinions on the YSI 85 DO meter
(without a stirring unit), as I have used this unit before but was a little
disappointed in the performance.

Is this disappointing performance of the YSI 85 typical of DO meters without
stirring units?

Has anybody had similar experiences with DO meters, without stirring units,
in bodies of water with little movement?

Thanks for all the help in advance.
Kris.
