How about a personal observation. I have
electrofishing for 17 years. And still have not been
able to 100%, without a doubt, claim that
electrofishing has been the cause of any fish dying.
I've seen more fish die in all kinds of nets and traps
than from electrofishing. I've seen more largemouth
bass die in catch and release tournments. I have seen
more fish die in hauling tanks.
The literature contains plenty of data on
electrofishing. Start with SilverPlatter.
