We just came back from Indonesia. While snorkeling at Banta island, I saw
a fairly common fish which could not be identified with the fish books
available. It was wrasse-like in shape, about 10 inches long. Head was
light brown on top, white below, behind head was a vertical white stripe.
The rest of the body was black, with an orange tail. It may have been a
juvenile of something. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
I noticed an interesting behavior that these fish were doing - nestling
down into anemones for a brief period of time. I didn't know any fish
besides clown fish did that, and these were certainly not clown fish.
Does the fish and this behavior sound familiar to anyone? I'm really
curious about it.

and pollution. \ \
