I'm preparing for my biannual grad. course in Reproduction and Recruitment
of Marine Fishes, and am looking for information about any new texts that
may be useful for the class. The students spend most of their time reading
research papers, but some books have been very useful. Unfortunately,
outside of Sale's Ecology of Fishes on Coral Reefs, most of the relevant
books are now out of print (e.g. Lasker's Marine Fish Larvae, Kamler's Early
Life History of Fish: An Energetics Approach, Thresher's Reproduction of
Reef Fishes, Hoar and Randalls' Fish Physiol. vols. on larvae).
Any suggestions about other texts that I should look at would be much
appreciated.
