9 June 2000 Dear Colleague,
I have a position for a Postdoc to continue a research project that I have been doing in Queensland, Australia, studying the community ecology of corals and algae. Funding through the National Science Foundation is available for up to 5 years. I hope to fill it by October 2000. The person will be based at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Most of the work will be data analyses with perhaps some modelling, though some field work at my site at Heron Island, Queensland, is a possibility. I hope you will bring this opening to the attention of your students and colleagues.
Thanks,
Joe Connell
