Tom,
I have heard from local anglers of a land-locked population of striped bass
in Shubenacadie Grand Lake, Nova Scotia, Canada (about 44 degrees N or
thereabouts). I believe they are wild rather than stocked. I'm not sure of
the validity of this information, so you may want to contact Fisheries and
Oceans in Halifax, NS.
