You may also want to try www.abe.com. It's an international database of thousands of out of print booksellers. A quick search listed both versions for sale.

There are actually two versions of the book. The first/second edition is several years old, but you might still find hard/soft copies out there.
The THIRD edition (somewhat different from the previous two) has a pub date of 1999, but we only saw it available recently. I got a copy from Sea Challengers (www.seachallengers.com) in December, but the hardbound version may be sold out. Try them, they are a great source of books for reasonable prices.

Does anyone know where I might be able to get a copy? I'm interested in any information (texts, journal articles, etc.) on reef fishes of the South Pacific, particularly Epinepheline groupers of the Samoan islands. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. I'm starting a project this summer in American Samoa, and all my experience is with Caribbean reef fishes... > > Thanks, > Mark Tupper > > Dr. Mark Tupper, Associate Research Scientist > Florida Marine Research Institute > 100 Eighth Avenue SE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701 > (727) 896-8626, Ext 1706, FAX (727) 893-2162 > [log in to unmask] > >
