The Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology at
the University of Connecticut is seeking a Research
Assistant I to assist in an active laboratory devoted to a
range of studies in fish ecology. Duties will include live
fish care, organization and management of daily
laboratory needs, handling samples for microscopy,
compositional chemistry, histology; field sampling likely.
Minimum qualifications: a B.S. in biology; additional
qualifications include training in fish biology, with some
experience at maintaining live fish, desirable.
Preference will be given to applicants with computer
skills (Windows, Microsoft Excel), strong organizational
and interpersonal abilities. Please send resume with
