Hello Fish-Sci Members, I represent the Santa Monica Bay Restoration Project, a National Estuary Program member. We are seeking your help in locating photos for our "Marine Resource Inventory/Habitat Mapping Project" CD-ROM. This program, to be distributed free of charge, characterizes the marine and coastal habitats of Santa Monica Bay its watershed. The program consists of GIS maps of important habitats and special management areas, a virtual tour of the bay and its watershed and a database of important marine and terrestrial species. We are seeking assistance in locating photos (mostly fish and inverts) that we have yet to find and improving on the quality of several others. Because we are a non-profit organization and this program will be distributed at no charge, we can not offer monetary compensation for the use of photographs. However, you will receive proper credit on the CD as well as a copy of the final product. If you would like to contribute to this project, please contact me. I will be happy to supply you with an excel file of needed photos.
