Hello everybody,
I am doing physiology experiments with African catfish cannulated in the
dorsal aorta; we are not 100% sure we are hitting the dorsal aorta but
after cannulation we do get blood. But... varying from 1 to sometimes 3
days the cannula gets blocked. I really don't have a clue what is the
reason as some fish give blood for over 4 days. As an anticoagulant I use
SodiumCitrate 1%. Can anybody help me with useful information?
Thanks a lot!
