Mekong AquaBase is a prototype integrated local-scientific knowledge base
developed and posted on the web as a part of a results-based MIS,
particularly, for co-management and ecosystem management of fisheries and
aquatic resources in the Mekong Region in Southeast Asia.

The knowledge base of the Mekong AquaBase is organized by a comprehensive
GIS and supported by a case study outcome and a concept paper (a thorough
review on relevant theories, concepts and empirical findings).  Emphasis
is given in ensuring the relevancy and comprehensiveness in the
