Two workshops are being held at the University of Washington's
School of Aquatic and Fisheries Science next month which may be
of interest to those working with salmon.
The North Pacific Anadromous Fisheries Commission (NPAFC) is
sponsoring a one day workshop on Salmonid Otolith Marking on
March 21, 2001. Otolith marking techniques have been increasingly
applied to Pacific salmon by member countries of the NPAFC with
over 1 billion marked fish released each year. This workshop is
intended to share information on the methods and applications
for research and management.

Northeast Pacific Pink & Chum Salmon Workshop will be held.
