Dear All,

this message to let you know that my web site has moved to its own domain name.
It is now at the following address:
http://www.ausanthrop.net/

The site is now based on databases and dynamically programmed with PHP, and
therefore allows for much more interactivity. It has a search engine for an
Australian Western Desert bibliography, and the AusAnthrop database,
containing some 10000 alternative names used in the literature for
Australian tribes, languages, nations and dialectal groups is on line as
well.

I have included a page on conferences in the section *resources*. If you
would like this page to include any conference you are planning or
organising or know about, please let me know the details and I will post
it. I have lots of feedback, especially from students, regarding this page,
so it might be worthwhile adding your conference in there.

There's other stuff, and more soon and all the time. So please just browse
around. Thanks in advance for feedback, ideas for improvements or new
sections etc. (i.e. some visitors asked for an on line jobs and position
section; anyone else believing this to be useful?)
