Research Fisheries Biologist I (job announcement #2002-49)

Responsibilities: Responsible for fisheries biologist work involved with a
spring chinook supplementation program located in the Methow subbasin
(Winthrop, WA). Will have project oversight for all monitoring and
evaluation activities. Additional responsibilities will involve data
analysis, preparation of annual work statement and budget, and report
writing.
Qualifications: Minimum B.S. degree, with a major in fisheries science; and
2 years of fisheries research work; M.S. degree may substitute for one year
of work experience. Preference given to candidates knowledgeable of
fisheries research techniques and Treaty Fishing Rights. Must have a valid
driver's license, and pass the Yakama Nation drug and alcohol test.
Salary: $33,800 - 33,800 per year (DOQ). Full time. Benefits include:
annual and sick leave, retirement and medical.
