This is a message to remind you that the Ecological and Evolutionary
Ethology of Fishes meeting (EEEF) will be held in Quebec City, August 15th
to 20th 2002.

Please note that the pre-registration's deadline is January 15th 2002.  If
you are planning on attending to the meeting, please fill-out the
pre-registration form available on the web site, or upon request to

This is for planning purposes and will be greatly appreciated. Thanks to
those of you who have already pre-registered.  Any news will be posted on
the web site.


Four mini-symposium subjects are posted for now, which are:

1-Evolution of alternative reproductive strategies
2-The role of trophic polymorphism is the evolution of fish populations
3-The sensory environments and homing behaviour of the larvae of coral reef
fishes
4-Genetic basis, architecture and determinants of fitness-related traits in
fishes
