The training course tries to minimize the technical capabilities gap between the advance and less advance countries in order to achieve a more harmonized  sustainable fisheries development and management in the region.

Course Objectives:

The objectives of this training course were
to give knowledge of current development status of the fisheries sector and its subsectors in the region;
to provide practical experience and exchange of views in the various disciplines; and
to expose the participants to the network of fisheries experts and institutions in the region for future collaboration.
