Dear List Members,

My name is Andrew Muir, I am the Assessment Biologist for the Chippewas of Nawash First Nation in Ontario, Canada.  Currently we are working on setting up an age determination facility and I am interested in obtaining bacgroud infomation to build into our funding proposals.

I have a couple of questions that I require answers to and I thought that list readers may be able to assist us in our work.  

1) Does anyone have an estimate of how many labs there are, worldwide, that are using image analysis techniques to assist in fish age determination.

2) If not, can the fish-sci members provide an estimate of how many major age determination labs there are in their region of the world?
