dear marin
I think you will find that there was quite a lot of work on fish ecology in
estuaries including distreibutions of populations done very close to home,
by the University of Aberdden's field station a Culterty on the Ythan
Estuary in the 60s and 70s. I do not remember the details but it was under
the overall direction of Harry milne and I know david Emerson did some of
the flounder work, I think this was continued by Summers. There was
certainly a wealth published on the ecology of the Ythan, but for the
detailled infoyou want it would probably going to the Ph. D. theses in the
Aberdeen Uni library.
I hope this helps
regards, Doug
