Thanks for all the replies about eating and drinking damselfishes!
So far, the list of countries/islands with reports of people
consuming damselfishes includes Jamaica, Philippines, Azores and
Madeira Islands, southern France, perhaps Hawaii. All over the
world, it seems, to some level.
