Another, IMHO more likely, scenario is an explosion of bandwidth-intensive
services as people suddenly can afford to get really high-speed access. A
lot of people today have too slow connections to be able to view high-
quality streaming video, for example, so instead they keep their machines
running for days, downloading all the latest movies to their harddrive so
they have them available when they feel like watching one. If everyone
could afford high-speed connections there would be less need to store
