You can avoid paying your 2005 Annual Membership fee if you present an
e-seminar in 2004.
An (electronic/Internet) e-seminar is conducted using email and via a
One (or more) paper/report/webpage is made available on the web and used
as the background material(s) for discussion by audience and author(s).
During the e-seminar, a parallel discussion(s) on an issue(s) may also
be organized by the presentor if s/he wishes.
Please contact [log in to unmask] with the title of your
background material(s) and information on their weblinks. Since IOBB is
just starting e-seminar series (except for the topic on integrated
biosystems and lactic acid bacteria), it is useful that a new e-seminar
series starts with introductory review papers before entering into more
specific research issues and papers. In this context, educational course
materials may even prove useful to establish a knowledge base for
To IOBB members from the private sector, e-seminars can also be
organized on technology/systems used and products. So if you are
selling a service or product that is elaborated on a website, please
identify the webpages which you think could be used for an e-seminar and
membership fee concession is given to only one author if there are
