I am modeling the possible nutrient translocation by fish that exhibit diel littoral-
pelagic migrations. Currently my model is parameterized for eutrophic lakes, but I
would like to run simulations for oligotrophic systems as well. However, to do this, I
need fish biomass (convertible to units of kg/ha) for typical oligotrophic systems.
Ideally it would be good to have data for bluegill (Lepomis macrochirus). However,
data for any freshwater species would be helpful. It would also be good if it were
possible to break the biomass estimates into size classes (or at least juvenile/adult),
as excretion by fish is size- specific. You can either post a response to the list or e-
mail me directly ([log in to unmask]) and I will post a summary of results. Thanks
in advance!
