Applications are invited for the following posts: Applications are invited for three academic positions within the Department, which is active in a wide range of areas of zoological research, runs a Zoology degree, contributes to several other degrees, notably Marine Science, and has significant numbers of postgraduate students.
Senior Lectureship in Marine Zoology Applicants for this full-time, permanent post shall possess: a strong research record in marine zoology, as evidenced by publications in leading journals and a proven ability to attract research funding; extensive undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience; organizational skills and a willingness to contribute to departmental administration; a doctorate in a relevant area of Biological Science.
Lectureship above/below the bar in Terrestrial Zoology/Mammalogy Applicants for this full-time, permanent post shall possess: extensive undergraduate teaching experience at all levels; experience of conducting research on terrestrial mammal ecology, and of supervising research students in this area; organizational skills and a willingness to contribute to departmental administration; a doctorate in a relevant area of Biological Science.
Lectureship (fixed term) in Marine Zoology – 2 Year Contract Post Applicants for this full-time, temporary post shall possess: ability to teach a range of topics across the broad field of marine Zoology; ability to supervise research students; a doctorate in a relevant area of Biological Science.
