Dear Victor,

The University of Aberdeen has been working in the area of remote underwater photography and telemetry for some time. Perhaps someone at the DeepSea Oceanlab (e.g. Monty Priede, Phil Bagley) may be helpful (http://www.oceanlab.abdn.ac.uk).

If by chance you are interested in the actual analysis of fish behaviour toward bait or baited objects, I would personally recommend the Observer and EthoVision softwares by Noldus (http://www.noldus.com/) for video and data analysis. Using George Barlow's theory that behaviour can be broken down into discrete units called "Modal Action Patterns" or MAP's, several studies have attempted to quantify the behaviour of fish toward bait..... You may find the following useful:

Best Regards,
Paul

I wonder if anyone can share his/her experience in statistical analysis of
BRUVS (baited remote underwater video stations)?

Thanks in advance.
