A multidiciplinary workshop on "Harvest Control Rules" will be arranged at the Institute of Marine Research in Bergen, Norway, in 13-15 September 2004. The workshop is arranged with support by the Nordic Council of Ministers. The workshop will have a focus on Nordic fisheries without being restricted to that particular area. More information on the workshop can be obtained through the following link:
http://personal.inet.fi/private/esko.heino/Mikon/HCR.pdf
We can accommodate a few more participants. If you are interested, please contact the organizers, Mikko Heino and Kjellrun Hiis Hauge (see the web link for addresses), indicating why you would be interested to join and how you would like to contribute to the workshop. The dead-line for applications is 30 June.
Participation to the workshop is free. We are able to contribute towards the travel and accommodation costs of a limited number of participants from Nordic countries as well as Baltic countries and the Russian Federation. If you need economic support, please say so, indicating an estimate of travelling costs. Priority will be given to students and others with limited economic means for travelling.
