Good morning,

Sorry to bother you all with this rather esoteric question about what might
be just an urban legend. But it is a long lived urban legend since I first
heard it over 40 years ago.

Has any one heard of any research done on whether or not waterfowl can carry
sticky Esox lucius eggs on their legs on their spring migrations thereby
functionally stocking new water bodies? I would appreciate any references
on the subject. Thanks in advance for your help.

Positive thoughts,

Bob
