Dear colleagues,
I'm studying a symbiotic complex associated with oculinid corals Galaxea spp in Viet Nam. These corals are inhabited by copepods, shrimps and very abberant syngnathid fishes Bulbonaricus davaoensis. During field work I studied behavoiur, feeding and ecology of this species and now I'm trying to compare my data with other data on syngnathids biology.
I tried to find any information of biology of symbiotic syngnathid species and cann't find some papers. Could anybody help me to find the following:
Clark, E., 1966 Pipefishes of the genus *Siokunichthys* Herald in the Red Sea with description of a new species. Israel South Red Sea Expedition, 1962, Reports No. 18. Bull. Sea Fish. Res. Sta. Haifa No. 41, p. 3-6
Dawson, C. E., 1983 Synopsis of the Indo-Pacific pipefish genus *Siokunichthys* (Syngnathidae), with description of *S. nigrolineatus* n. sp. Pac. Sci. v. 37 (no. 1), p. 49-63
Could anybody help me in discussing biology of symbiotic syngnathids? I hope there are any person which are interesting in this topic. I'll be very glad to connect.
Also I'm interesting in phylogeny on the genus Bulbonaricus. Could anybody send me any comments and references?
Yours, Ivan.
