I have two independent study students who are cataloging a donated collection of marine specimens from Baja California, Yucatan, and the Caribbean (I teach Fisheries Biology and Marine Biology at a high school in Oregon). It includes whole and parts of fish, sponges, soft corals, mollusks, marine mammals, and (freshwater) turtles. Our reference materials are very limited. We are seeking online resources and other that might help us identifying these specimens. I am aware of FishBase and other sites like it but for these other taxa would be of much help. We are also seeking professionals willing to identify photos that we can send to them. Your replies are much appreciated!

Thanks
