 Lecturer in Fishery Studies (full-time)

An opportunity has arisen to join our busy team in fishery studies.  This post will be responsible for the delivery of fishery studies subjects both in the classroom and practical environment to learners on both full and part-time programmes at the College.  Ideally you will have a related qualification and/or experience of teaching on First and National Diploma programmes and a willingness to undertake course tutorship for one of our fishery programmes is desirable.  The College has a commercial fish farm as well as a commercial day ticket fishery.  The successful applicant will have a key role in the development of both the curriculum and commercial aspects  of the College's day ticket fishery and fish farm.  This is a full year, full time permanent post of 37 hours a week.  Salary in the region of £18,757 to £23,453 per annum commensurate with qualifications & experience.


 Lecturer in Fishery Studies (part-time)

An opportunity has arisen to join our busy fishery team.  You will be delivering theory and practical sessions to students on full and part-time programmes.  You will need a sound knowledge of the cyprinid fishery industry and experience of carrying out a range of fishery associated activities.   A good general education is essential.  The successful candidate will either have a teaching qualification or be prepared to work towards one. This is a fixed term post of approximately 11 hours a week to July 2005.  Rate of pay will be £21.21, which includes £4.08 consolidated holiday pay.
