Justin,
Because of the mateials in the solution, you will need to
declare them as hazardous. The good thing is that they will
be in small quantities. The number of separate boxes needed
may be determined by the total volume in each one, with less
volume being better. The best way to handle it is finding
someone that has had the 24 hr training for DOT shipping.
They can be the one to sign for it, while you fill out the
extra paperwork that the shipper will have, and pay the
extra handling fee.
You probably will need the MSDS for each chemcial in the
solution. Not likely that there is a ready-made one, unless
there is a commercial source. If that is the case, get the
name of the maker, and get on their website. It should be
available, since they need an MSDS for shipping, as well as
to provide to any user.
