Dear members:

Could any of you identify the monacantid fish in the attached picture?
It was found in the catch of artisanal fisheries at Puerto Angel, Oaxaca,
México, but we can´t found something similar at keys or fishbase website.
Unfortunately, it couldn´t be collected.

Podría alguien de ustedes identificar el pez monacantido de la foto adjunta?
Fue encontrado en la captura de las pesquerías artesanales de Puerto Ángel,
Oaxaca, Mexico, pero no hemos podido encontrar algo similar en las claves o
en la página de fishbse. Desafortunadamente el ejemplar no pudo ser
colectado.
