摘要： 描记在云南省泸西县阿庐古洞地下河中采到的高原鳅属一新种，以采集地命名为阿庐高原鳅 (Triplophysa aluensis sp.nov.).新种与云南高原鳅相近但有下列特征可明显区别： 新种前段略平扁，体长为体高的10.6倍；② 尾较细，体长为尾柄高约14.8倍；③ 眼小 ，趋近于盲眼，头长为眼径的18.0倍；④ 鼻瓣发育成鼻须 ；⑤ 尾叉形；⑥ 体表裸露 鳞 斑.

Abstract:Describes a new species of the genus Triplophysa Ren dahl 1933,collected from the cave alugudong in Luxi County,Yunnan China.Triplo physa aluensis sp.nov..Type specinent No.2000062001,total length 91mm,standard length 74mm，collect ed on June 20,2000 from Alugudong of Luxi county (24°17′N,103°48′E,altilude 1650m) in Yunnan Province.Kept in Heilongtan Reservoir of Shilin County,Yunn an Province.Description:D.iii,7;P.i,9;V.i,6;A.ii,5;Branched caudal fin rays 13.Body depth in standard length 10.6,head length 4.1,length of caudal peduncle 5 .3,depth of caudal peduncle 14.8,Snout in head 2.3,eye 18.0,head depth 2.6,inter orbital 4.5.Dep th of caudal peduncle 2.8 in its length.Diagnosis:The hew species is similar to T.yunnanensis Yang 1990.but differs from the latter in : Body depth in sta rdard length 10.6;Vs 5.9—8.2.② Depth of caudal peduncle in standard length 14. 8;Vs 10.5—12.1.③ eye in head 18.0;Vs 12.1—13.8.④ barbal of nose valve.⑤ bod y without scales and spot.⑥ forked of caudal fin.

Dear Colleagues:
In a recent paper in the Journal of Fish Biology, Chen and Yang described a
new species of cave fish from China. In their references list they cite
the following: Li and Zhu (A new species of Triplophysa...) as from Journal
of Yunnan University 22, 396-398. (2000)
I have tried to obtain that paper via Interlibrary Loan but all libraries
contacted say that such paper with that reference does not exist. I tried
to contact both authors by email but my emails to them have bounced back as
unrecognized email address. My request to the members of the list is that
if you have access to that journal and would be kind enough to browsing
through that journal for between 1998 and the latest issue try to find the
article in question so I can give my librarian the correct reference to be
requested via ILL. However, I suspect that the right is 2003 based on the
library information for the journal.
Please be advised that according to Worlcat the actual journal title is
"Yunnan min zu xue yuan xue bao" (Journal of Yunnan University of the
Nationalities). The article is probably in Chinese, but my experience is
that all of them also have an English title and abstract.
