Primary Productions influence on individual growth

Dear fish ecologist

I looking for references, which confirm that individual growth of fish is higher in areas (ecosystems) with a high primary production.

Can somebody out there give me some references on this?

The ecosystems intended, are upwelling areas ore seamounts. This ecosystems area characterised with a high primary production which result in a high biomasses of fish stocks.

Using common sense, individual growth of fish should also be better in this ecosystems. Even tried, it has not been possible for me to find a reference, confirm this hypothesis.

Hope you can help my
