Our research group have been attaching very small radio-tags weighing less than 1 g in air to small fishes in streams. 
The smallest acoustic tags that we have seen on manufacturer websites are 1.4 g in air. Is anyone aware of a company manufacturing acoustic tags that are smaller than this?
