The University of Tromsų has a vacant position as a post doctoral research fellow in population
genetics of freshwater fish. The position is for three years starting from July 1, 2008.
The position is attached to the Freshwater Ecology Group at the Department of Aquatic
BioSciences and is a part of the project "Incipient speciation through ecological divergence in
subarctic whitefish populations" funded by the Norwegian Research Council. The postdoc will
have a main responsibility for the genetic studies in the project.
