Dear Colleagues,

(1) "Fourth International Symposium on GIS/Spatial analyses in Fishery and Aquatic Sciences" will take place in the beautiful, active, exciting and attractive city, Rio in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Aug. 25-29, 2008.

(2) "Final Announcement and Call for Papers" :

(3) Important note: The deadline of the registration and the abstract submission is June 15. Please note that the registration fee by this date is US$200 and after this date, it will be US $400. 

(4) Three major themes for the 4th Symposium are “Ecosystem Management”, “Future GIS” and "Inland Waters and Aquaculture GIS",  For details, please refer to "Final Announcement and Call for Papers" in the above web-sites.

(5) As many people has been requesting to list the CONTENTS of the past Abstract Proceedings and "GIS/Spatial analyses in Fishery & Aquatic Sciences (Vols. 1-3), they are now available at:
