Dear Dinis,
As far as i Know, there is information on bycatch of pelagis sharks by
longline fisheries operating in the eastern atlantic in the ICCAT website,
take a look at publications of the SCRS (Standing Commite on Research
Statistics)...there are at least 3 or 4 papers I remember that have info on
that topic.
Also look for Peterson et al a report made for WWF on bycatch of sharks,
seabirds and sea turtles on pelagic longline fisheries off Angola, Namibia
and South Africa....as far as i remember, Peterson and colleagues also
presented a paper to ICCAT on this topics.
