Im seeking if anyone can give me the e-mail address of RICC Francis.  My 
problem is this: I have been looking at his (1988) paper comparison of tagging 
and age based data and particularly on the re-parameterisation of the VBGF 
(equation 4 on his paper).  What i find is that `r' always comes to 1, making 
the terms (1-r) coming to zero and hence the whole product as zero.  This 
makes the calculation of expected length at an arbitrat age coming to be 
similar to Lo.  I would appreciate any help from anyone on the list.
